The main motivation for publishing in the journal is to share the latest achievements in the development and modelling of manufacturing technologies and machine design. This special issue of Acta Physica Polonica A features original research papers discussed by an international group of participants of the 29th International Polish–Slovak Scientific Conference on Machine Modelling and Simulations in the field of the analysis of physical phenomena in technological processes and materials engineering. The Conference has been organized annually since 1995 by scientists from Poland and Slovakia.
This issue offers an in-depth discussion on applied physics. Machine modelling and simulations use models (physical, mathematical, logical representations of real devices and/or processes) as a basis for simulations to develop data utilised for technical decision-making across a broad range of mechanical engineering applications for scientific and industrial purposes. Each manuscript provides a description of the analysed phenomenon in advanced industrial, automotive and green energy applications.
The issue consists of 23 original scientific papers chosen from those presented at the Conference. We would like to thank all the authors for their contribution to the success of the special issue.
