Zero Field Splitting Parameter of Mn^{2+}-Doped Tl_{2}Cd_{2}(SO_{4})_{3} Single Crystals at Axial Symmetry Site
Main Article Content
Abstract
Theoretical study of the crystal field parameters and the zero-field splitting parameter of Mn2+-doped langbeinite Tl2Cd2(SO4)3 single crystals is done using the superposition model and perturbation theory. The zero-field splitting parameter found here matches well with the experimental value. The theoretical study supports the conclusion of experimental study that Mn2+ substitutes for Cd2+ in Tl2Cd2(SO4)3 single crystal.
